That's the nice one.  The rest are by amateurs!

Yes you can get married

or

Renew Your Vows

in our churches.

Welcome to your church wedding in Gillingham.  You can get married in any Church of England church with which you have a link - which can be through one of you or your parents having lived in the parish or simply by you or your parents attending the church.

Click here for a full explanation

You can Renew Your Vows or have a Blessing after a Civil Ceremony (for example, in a Registry Office or Overseas) in any of our churches without needing any link.

You do not have to be christened, a member of the church or anything else to get married or to renew your vows in a Church of England church.

To see our churches click on the

Our Churches tab above.

And it doesn't cost a lot

Around £300 if all you want is the ceremony itself.  Add in music, flowers, bells, choir and whatever else you want and it can get up to around £700, though most are around £500.
Whichever options you choose, the venue, the vicar, the legal stuff, in fact everything you need to get married is included.

NB: Church of England ministers are not allowed to conduct civil partnership ceremonies or blessings.  Ministers of some independent churches (notably the Unitarian and Quaker churches) are able to conduct blessings and we suggest you ask your friends for contacts.  Or click here for a useful link
